“As an overwhelmed freshman back in 2023, I couldn’t find a single organization that showcased the beauty of the brain and mind in one place. You either had to commit your time to ten different organizations or fully dedicate yourself to a highly specialized community (if you were 100% sure about what you wanted to pursue).

I didn’t have the time for ten organizations—nor did I have a clear idea of exactly what I wanted to do in college.

So, to save time and mental space for myself and many students alike, Brain Hub was born.

Born with one bold purpose: to show that the intersection of many majors and specialties is essential for a fulfilling professional journey. Here, we save your time and provide a wide range of opportunities to grow as a leader in neuro-related fields—whether that’s neuroscience, neurobiology, psychology, cognitive science, philosophy, neural engineering, or the arts.

Welcome to a change-making environment, Brain Hubber!”

  • Brain Hub isn’t just a club—it’s where neuroscience meets real life. We host interactive events like “Be the Neurologist,” invite surgeons and researchers to campus, run hands-on workshops, and connect students to shadowing, research, and volunteer opportunities. Whether you're pre-med, psych, comp sci, engineering, arts or just curious—we’ll plug you into the brain world in a way lectures never could.

  • Here are just a few reviews from our amazing members:

The first Brain Hub meeting was a warm and welcoming experience! Even though my major isn’t in psychology or neuroscience, I’ve always been interested in learning about our brains, and I know this will be beneficial to my field of study as well. Also, it was wonderful to see a diverse group of people from various backgrounds, and the staff were incredibly friendly.🥹 I am excited about the future events and research opportunities they will offer. I’m glad I decided to join Brain Hub. 🧠

I thought it was great! I will definitely be coming again. This was a great way to discuss with a group of people who care as much about the brain as I do! I feel like this is the start of a great community on campus.

    - Kate H.

So friendly and welcoming, I love that their interested in what their members want to see and that they’ll help students with research opportunities!

    - Sonoma W.

Enjoyed being able to talk about struggles that are often “taboo” in other settings

    - Jayden V.

The first meeting was so intriguing because of the multidisciplinary approach to the club, and as someone with interests in cognitive science, art and design, and neuroscience, I am so excited to learn more about how to explore all those topics. It seems like a super supportive and innovative club!
